The brochure needed to be both inspirational and functional, so was designed to feel like a scrapbook of insights from past attendees of the training academy, with a vision for the charity and a simple application form. As there was little budget, imagery was created from handwritten quotes, illustrations and existing pictures, reinterpreted in a monotone palette to unify the look. The concept came from the desire to stand apart from the rest of the homeless sector, as this is the first of its kind – a not-for-profit members’ club, working as a training ground for sustained employment.
