This publication was created for Japan’s most famous spatial artist, Junji Tanigawa, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his company JTQ. To represent the interplay of space, gauze materials and square cut-outs areoverlaid on the cover, chosen for their ability to discolour over time, creating an organic feel. The pop ups, clippings and inserts included in this book are design elements inspired by Junji Tanigawa’s handmade creations from his childhood diary.
