Alzheimer Nederland works hard to raise awareness and funds for vital researchinto Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. But times are hard, and competition for donations has never been tougher. With the existing visual style lacking emotion as well as a competitive edge, Studio Dumbar designed a new identity. Having met patients, families and carers to experience the impact of the disease first-hand, we developed an instantly recognisable identity. The new logotype is bold and confident. The ‘vanishing points’ visualise the effectsof dementia, while they can be seen as a source of light and hope.
