The task for QM Financial was to warn Indonesians about the risk of having too many credit cards and the dangers of accumulating debt. We parodied a typical pre-approved credit card starter pack and sent it from a fictitious bank. Proper financial advice was strategically plastered throughout the direct mail, educating the financially illiterate recipient. It also contained invites to QM Financial seminars. The large attendance allowed QM Financial to make personal connections with people and shattered the stereotypes of financial planners as being intimidating and money-sucking.
