1440 Project

Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Digital Design / Interface & Navigation for Websites & Digital Design / 2013

The ‘1440 Project’ was created to help outdoor enthusiasts share their love of the outside. The core of the site is an interactive minute-by-minute timeline that uses photographs taken by everyday people to represent every single minute spent outdoors. The site is able to read the time stamps embedded in each digital photo and place it precisely on the timeline. Visitors can view a specific point in the day using the clock feature. Our ultimate goal is to fill every single minute of this virtual 24-hour day with photography representing our collective love of the outside.
