Search for the World Series Baby

Coming off the 2010 San Francisco Giants World Series victory, Comcast SportsNet asked us to develop a low-cost idea that leveraged the Giants’ big win to help build Comcast SportsNet Bay Area's online community. From this brief, the idea for the ‘Search for The World Championship Baby’ was born. We promoted our contest during Giants games with a 30-second spot and in-game mentions, along with creating a homepage on CSN's website. In total, 921 mothers-to-be entered our contest and on 1 August 2011, the official nine-month anniversary of the Giants victory, the winning baby was born.
