The Man Who Lived in a Film

Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / TV & Cinema Advertising / Cinema Commercials 61-120 seconds / 2012

A man tells a story about the strange things that happen to him. Increasingly, he ends up in a movie scene. He finds a man tied up in his trunk. He goes for a run in the park, but ends up in a scene from a Jane Austen movie. Death (from Bergman) seeks him out in a café; a taxi turns out to be a Transformers robot; he is suddenly in the middle of an intimidating social realism drama from the 70s. And in the end, a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex shows up outside his window. Canal Digital presents its film rental service named Go, with the payoff: ‘We bring the movies to you’.
