Lynne Forsyth Mailer

Award: Graphite Pencil

Graphite Pencil / Graphic Design / Direct Mail (Graphic Design) / 2012

Lynne Forsyth is an editor and proofreader who needed something that would get the attention of agencies and could also be handed to people she met. The solution was a DM piece taking the form of a brochure enclosed in a business card size folder. Using well-known sayings and idioms that relate to accuracy and attention, it describes her role and the importance of words. Headlines have the cross from the t’s and the dot from the i’s removed, referencing this attention to detail. The cover starts with them grouped in the more familiar message of ‘help’, leading into what Lynne can offer.
