100 Graphics of Anatomy Chart

Award: Yellow Pencil

Yellow Pencil / Graphic Design / Catalogues & Brochures / 2012

The human body is a mystery. Everyone has one, and yet there are elements that remain unexplained.'100 Graphics of Anatomy' was made by pairing a word for a part of the body and a related visual image. While probing the line where the connection between the meaning and the form approaches the nonsensical, these works emphasise the beauty, danger and strangeness of the body as a form. The collection of graphics on straw paper may make its subject an even greater mystery than it was originally, but I hope you enjoy my interpretations of the body.
