The Browsing Copy Project focuses on unloved books – those that remain on the shelves unsold. These books were collected from local bookstores, then designers from around the world were invited to use them as canvases to express their creativity and give the books a second life. The ‘before and after’ results are documented. Only 300 copies were printed and circulated around the world’s good bookstores, shops and design studios, just for people to browse. It is not for sale. The condition of the catalogues and the places they’ve been are documented on the website www.browsingcopy.com.
