‘Pacific Standard Time’ was an unprecedented collaboration of 67 museums across Southern California, coming together to celebrate every major LA art movement from 1945 to 1980. We invited pop culture icons from Los Angeles's present to celebrate the iconic artists who inspired them. Ice Cube paired himself with the Eameses to create new collaborative works. By sharing Los Angeles’s post-war modern art in this new and more relevant context, a whole new audience was introduced to ‘Pacific Standard Time’.
