When the annals of advertising history come to be written, surely this campaign for Rice Krispies Squares will recline proudly near the summit. Everything is exquisitely crafted, from the Squares themselves with their heat-inflated grains, artfully coagulated into rectangular cuboids in a factory just outside Salford, to the advertising campaign with its vibrant posters skilfully conjuring up an explosion in a graphics factory – all come together to leave campaigns for lesser confectionery products camped shivering in the foothills of Creativity, gazing wistfully upwards.
