DieHard Battery vs. Gary Numan

Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Film Advertising Crafts / Use of Music for Film Advertising / 2011

How do you demonstrate that a DieHard Platinum battery performs in just about any situation? There are a lot of ways. We chose to use a single DieHard Platinum to power 80s avant-garde electro-pop rocker Gary Numan, his keyboards, lights, and a custom organ made of 24 cars. After Gary played his 1979 hit ‘Cars’, using the horns and headlights of the 24 cars, the same battery started all 24 cars.
