To advertise Billboard Magazine, we created print ads featuring stars like Bono, Eminem and Marilyn Manson, with each image composed of their respective influences, plus a touch of humour. We then created subway posters and digital panels that allowed consumers to take their photo, enter their favourite artists, and see their image recreated instantly. They could also upload images to Flickr. Finally, online, we sent Last.fm users a link to a website which recreated their profile images based on their favourite artists’ images. Those who subscribed to Billboard magazine received the ultimate gift: a free poster of their own image. This campaign was also nominated in Direct Response/Ambient.
