To launch the MySpace Music, a brand new music service from MySpace, we created a campaign that allows fans to ‘get real close’ to their favourite artists. The website myspace.com/getrealclose is a series of banners featuring world famous artists listening to the music they love from their new MySpace playlists. These never-before-seen moments, like 50 Cent in his hotel suite rapping over Michael Jackson, blow up to play full screen, inHD quality. The site myspace.com/fanvideo allows hardcore music fans to feature in person in intimate films with artists like Alicia Keys, by seamlessly integrating the fans’ Facebook profile pictures into the artists’ films on MySpace.
