This viral piece combines 'Rendezvous' and 'Last Day', two promos developed for ‘Gears of War 2’ from XBOX. ‘Rendezvous’ and ‘Last Day’ were created entirely in the Gears of War 2 game engine to deliver the realism, detail, texture and physics of the actual game; all animation was done in-engine to enhance the role-playing experience. It was first storyboarded and previsualised; motion capture was done to detail the characters’ movements. Designed for a wider audience, it is contemplative and set to a haunting ballad, to give gamers a new piece of content to share for greater exposure.
