This commercial was developed to raise awareness of the housing crisis currently gripping the UK, and explain Shelter’s unique positioning as a support to the many thousands of households affected. The fragility of a house of cards is used in this work to explain the complexity of different housing issues. Such are the UK's housing problems that this creative idea can be used to explain the truth about repossessions or temporary and social housing, as well as Shelter’s call for the basic human right to have a place to call home.
