BBC Radio 4 wished to attract a new, younger audience to its world-famous flagship current affairs show, The Today Programme. To do this we decided to highlight the surprising line-up of guests that the show often attracts, and the stimulating nature of the topics they discuss. This would enable potential younger listeners to sample the show, while allowing current listeners to feel proud of their radio programme. To bring the revealing dialogue to life we used world-class illustrators and type animation.
