The brief was to raise awareness of a new product from Vodacom called Vodacom Passport, which allows you to pay local call rates when travelling abroad. We re-recorded popular songs that topped world charts in music styles indigenous only to South Africa. The styles are popular Zionist gospel choir and Isicathamiya, made popular by Ladysmith Black Mambazo. This illustrated the fact that no matter where you travel, Vodacom Passport will always make you feel like you’re back at home, because of the local tariff.
