The objective was to design an enduring and emotive telephone that would appeal to a broad audience. It had to suit a range of environments and be easy to relate to and use, efficient to manufacture and have a competitive retail price to make it as accessible as possible. The design was kept modern but also friendly by trying to create an essence of familiarity. Being a landline telephone, a visual distinction was created between the earpiece and mouthpiece areas, making a light reference to traditional telephone receivers. The shape of the handset is designed for comfort and ease of use. It is available from Corso Como 10 in Milan to mainstream high street retailers.
