Shouting

Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Poster Advertising / Indoor Posters / 2009

The fact that ‘shouting’ can refer to either ‘shouting abuse’ or ‘shouting for help’ unlocked the concept. The shot was taken in a rough part of Hoxton, east London. During the shoot, a nearby pile of boxes started to move – a tramp had been sleeping underneath them. The model, swearing at the photographer at the top of his voice, had woken him up.
