Good is all about getting things done and changing the world at the same time, or in the words of Ben Franklin (and Ben Goldhirsh, the founder of Good), 'doing well by doing good'. Every issue has an editorial theme: issues 008 through 013 were called 'Big Ideas!', 'All You Can Eat', 'The China Issue', 'Get Lost', 'New School', and 'Why Vote?'. Many magazines have a point of view about the world, but with Good we preach to the non-converted, to get the message out to as many people as possible. Additionally, Good is printed on paper manufactured using biogas energy and 30 per cent post-consumer waste. And 100 per cent of your subscription payment goes to the charity of your choice.
