The English characters of the word 'Tokyo' are used to create the Chinese letters for the word 'Taipei'. The poster thereby connects two different writing systems and tries to communicate the characteristics of the oriental culture. A two-directional arrow is embedded in the letter 'O' in order to communicate the common typographic relation of the two cities, as well as the basic concept of the design exhibition.
