The objective was to communicate the client’s business of buying and selling used cars, in an innovative and memorable way. Given the economic conditions, this had to be done in the most cost-effective way too. The card had to create a lot of buzz and word of mouth for the business. Since the client dealt with used cars, we decided to create used cards. The idea was to take the old visiting cards of random people and overwrite them with the Car Mall Used Cars seal. The cards were welcomed with surprise, and recall of the store went up by 40 per cent compared to other secondhand car stores in Mumbai. None of the card recipients forgot Car Mall.
