Spanner

Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Graphic Design / Stationery / 2009

Millions of cards are handed out every year. Most of them end up in trash cans or plastic folders, never to be looked at again. We wanted to design a card that a person would hold on to. The best way to do this was to give it some purpose other than just being a business card. Our idea was to give out fabricated metal cards that doubled up as a spanner. Along with carrying the details of our client, they could also be of use if you needed to change a tyre or tighten a loose nut.
