Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Environmental Design / Installations / 2009

‘Waterdrop' is a homage to water; a spectacular and engaging installation capturing the beauty of water. It represents the experience of a drop falling into water, creating hypnotic movement and ripples. The project invites us to enjoy and explore water without using a drop, reflecting Roca’s fundamental belief that innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand. The installation uses innovative and sophisticated technology in an unexpected and inventive way to capture this natural phenomenon. Now permanently housed in Roca's showroom in Madrid, the project has also been exhibited in London and Frankfurt.
