Leire Martínez, the face of Herbal Essences in Spain, became the new lead vocalist of La Oreja de Van Gogh, Spain's most famous pop band. So when they released their new album last summer, we saw a great opportunity to reinforce this endorsement and make the most out of this peak moment in Leire’s popularity. We found the connection between shampoo and music in a simple insight – people like to sing in the shower. We created a 'karaoke shower curtain' of the band’s first single. This idea outshone the usual promotions by giving away a useful, memorable gift that linked the brand and the band – shampoo and pop music – in a surprising way.
