The young discipline of signage offers an exciting view of two and three-dimensional design projects. These projects give individual places their specific character, make orientation easier and give us a structured overview of the respective contents. The 17 different projects discussed in this book show the potential this new field harbours for clients, urban planners, entrepreneurs and politicians. The individual designers’ backgrounds are as different as the backgrounds of the various clients in the fields of business, culture and healthcare.
