The Art Directors Club of the Netherlands (ADCN) Annual 2008 is a record of the year's most significant work in Dutch advertising and design. The goal of The Stone Twins was to develop an unusual concept to set it apart from earlier editions, and to generate a buzz in the advertising industry. Not content with merely creating a dazzling fluorescent pink cover and divider pages with targets, the duo commissioned the Dutch Army to fire live ammunition at each book, resulting in a one-off bullet-hole. The concept seeks to metaphorically suggest creative (and sales) targets, as well as comment on the self-aggrandising ad-world.
