Since its inception in 2002 the London Design Festival has become an important presence on the capital’s events calendar. Each year there is a need to give the festival a graphic identity which does not harm the main corporate logotype, but reflects the changing nature of the event. This year we wanted an identity that was challenging and that had impact. A bold typographic theme, using a modified Al Fragment typeface enabled us to bring a dynamic to the festival whilst allowing all the events information to be clear and readable.
