Diageo Japan launched a mobile platform that uses GPS-enabled and non-GPS enabled mobile phones to allow users to find the nearest Guinness serving establishment through Guinness Navi. With just the touch of a button, consumers can locate themselves and their nearest Guinness serving establishment using GPS and cell-ID technology, and access detailed maps. By clicking on an icon built into the map (pubs are represented as pints of Guinness on the map itself) they can also see photos, opening times, reviews of the bar and how many seats there are, as well as a phone number to contact it directly.
