To discourage Chinese newlyweds from serving shark’s fin soup at their wedding banquets, we created a Chinese paper cutting poster with a twist. Unlike traditional wedding paper cuttings that display auspicious symbols of joy, union and abundance, ours depict the cruel, bloody and wasteful practice of shark finning. These paper cuttings were then distributed as posters to Chinese restaurants throughout the country.
