Yellow Pencil / Environmental Design / Public Space & Community / 2008
The project begins at the square that connects it to the city. It is a visible cement block with a glass façade (south-east) and micro-perforated metal sheet façade (north-west), placed above a receding polycarbonate volume. On the ground floor, above the main block, there are two activity filled coloured blocks that jointly form a covered patio. The building has a circular path of ramps, surrounding a large yellow wall, that ends at a large glass window from where the city and the start of the pathway in the square can be seen.
