Wood Pencil / Environmental Design / Retail & Services / 2008

This project is the marriage of set Harvey Nichols values and their approach to retail service and brand, with the cultural diversity and requirements of a Turkish audience. The brief was to design the retail and restaurant areas (including brand development and graphic support) for this prestigious three-floor store, complete with food market and 100-cover restaurant. The department store needed to showcase the very best in western contemporary retailing, complemented by rich swatches of local material and the traditional skills of Turkish craftsmen, all refined to create a contemporary and relevant interior. The Harvey Nichols Turkish debut is all about stylish glamour.
