Graphite Pencil / Direct / Addressed Direct Mail Very Low Volume 1-500 / 2008

After centuries of weaving carpets with traditional bee and flower motifs, the weavers of Afghanistan now weave machine guns and tanks instead. A poignant reflection of their lives, these carpets were used as direct mailers to send to business leaders to enlist their support for World Vision’s work in the war-torn country.
