The Simpsons Kwik-E-Mart Branding Campaign

Award: Graphite Pencil

Graphite Pencil / Branding / New Branding Schemes: Large Business / 2008

In July 2007, twelve 7-Eleven stores in North America were converted to Kwik-E-Marts, the beloved convenience store in ‘The Simpsons’. Not only was all 7-Eleven branding and messaging altered to reflect the Kwik-E-Mart voice, but the entire exterior of each store was transformed, and new, fictional products were manufactured – to provide a complete, branded experience. Customers were given the opportunity to feel they were entering an entirely animated world, and were able to purchase Krusty O’s cereal, Buzz Cola, Squishees and Sprinklicious Donuts. One lucky 7-Eleven customer won the grand prize of being animated into an actual episode of ‘The Simpsons’.
