The aim of the ad was to create awareness amongst readers that Penguin books also came in audio format. Soundwaves were used as a design element so readers could immediately establish a link between books and audio. Excerpts from renowned Penguin classics were used to form the soundwaves. The line "Hear your favourite books" neatly summarised the proposition of Penguin Audiobooks.
