'Sea' is a global effort to revitalise the Vaseline brand and re-establish it as a leader in the skincare category. We created a visual metaphor in which large masses of naked people come together to represent the skin, using interpretive choreography and interacting with striking landscapes to dramatise some of skin's amazing qualities. Shot on location in Iceland and Barcelona, the film utilises a combination of footage shot in-camera and visual effects work to create this sea of humanity. We brought in as many as 400 extras at a time to shoot the largest of the crowd shots.
