Chargebox is a commercial vending system for charging a variety of mobile devices including phones, PDAs, mp3 players and games consoles. Situated in convenient locations between the home and office, Chargebox covers 90 per cent of phone handsets and mobile electronic devices on the market. The design is simple, intuitive and instils confidence in the consumer that their device is secure as they leave it to charge while they get on with their day. <br/>Successful new product development was achieved by bringing innovation consultants on board early. The Design Stream/BerlinLondon collaboration was able to help direct and solidify the business proposition to attract and secure investment in what is a completely new offering on the market.
