Thermastone

Seymourpowell first began working with British brand Mercury in 1999, after winning a competitive pitch to design the first consumer product for the new brand (part of the Lincat Group). The resulting range cooker – the R1090 – proved to be a brilliant commercial success, with sales still building year on year. Mercury then set its sights on the heat store cooker market with Thermastone, a radical new cooker that boasts innovations such as the use of industrial silicon carbide for the oven cavities – giving exceptional heat retention – along with seriously contemporary styling, including patented twist grip controls.
