All are premium, loud and expensive, using coats of arms, place names, glossy gilt paper and TV advertising with German heroes. In the eye of this marketing storm, a new beer now has emerged: 5.0 Original. It promises the characteristics of a real and good beer, solid and upright, and on sale at an honest price. By focusing on what is real, the home of 5.0 Original lies beyond all this talk of where a German beer belongs. We smile after our work is done and say “Bier und gut!”
