The aim of this campaign was to raise awareness of the new John Lewis garden furniture range. The resulting rich media units conveyed the feeling of a summer garden with elegant and abstract illustrations. Each rich media unit featured plants growing out across a web page, with its flowers blossoming out to reveal beautiful pieces of garden furniture. The ads were brought to life using a mix of Flash and 3-D animation. The campaign captured the imagination of 20 to 40 per cent of viewers, resulting in over 200,000 users visiting Johnlewis.com.
