'Wild Animus' is a novel by Richard Shapero. It chronicles the metamorphosis of the antihero Sam Altman from Californian student to drug-addled outcast searching for answers in a mountainous wilderness. The brief for this campaign was to tell the story of 'Wild Animus' through an online ad. One of the novel's central themes is "how far will you go?" This inspired the technique of holding the mouse click for the duration of the ad, allowing us to tell the story through animation and audio.
