Peg Solitaire

Award: Graphite Pencil

Graphite Pencil / Online Advertising / Online Advertising / 2007

Each day, 3.7 million trees are removed from the Amazon rainforest. Inspired by the classic peg solitaire game, this piece warns the population about the dangers of human interference with nature, which has so far provoked the extinction of important species and the climatic changes in the world. After interacting with the piece and eliminating the trees from an area of land, users are invited to join Greenpeace and use their intelligence to fight for the preservation of the natural resources remaining.
