The Design Indaba conference – held in Cape Town, South Africa – puts world-famous designers on stage. To invite them to speak at the event, we sent 30 designers a 3-D travel guide. Since most of them had never visited Cape Town, the specially-moulded plastic tray contained a variety of useful local products that would introduce them to the city, while copy described the wonderful things they would experience. All in all, it was like receiving Cape Town through the mail.
