The Alchemy Partnership wanted to give a sneak preview into the sadistic torture the Eurasians suffered during the Japanese Occupation. They executed this idea by allowing the public to tear off a piece of the poster to take home with them containing exhibition details. This is parallel to the way the Japanese secret police used to torture their victims by pulling off their fingernails.
