FedEx was looking for a bold and innovative idea to announce its new online office supply store, fedexkinkos.com. The result was big. Literally. Oversized sculptures of highlighters, white-out bottles, and desk lamps were placed in various high-traffic outdoor locations and played-off the natural environment. The monstrous highlighter looked as if it had just painted a fresh yellow streak on the curb of a no parking zone, the white-out gave the impression of a freshly painted white cross-walk and the desk lamp was equipped with a sensor that would illuminate areas where people would typically go to read such as a park or an outdoor seating area.
