Brinkworth designed a series of 40 foot 'ISO' type shipping containers for Heineken's Greenspace event in Valencia in 2005. The containers acted as structural devises creating areas for music, film and design to showcase in and around them. The challenge for the gallery spaces was to design containers that were capable of servicing a variety of exhibitions, with up to 6,000 visitors a day. While a standard container had a single entrance, Brinkworth designed and built two gallery containers with simple hinging devises that enabled the walls to pivot in and out, creating internal and external exhibition spaces and allowing the public to move freely in and around them. The containers were delivered to Spain fully fitted with internal wall panels and integral lighting. Once craned into position off the back of flat bed lorries and plugged in, the containers were fully functional within the short time it took to open out the walls.
