Christian Schilling: Kill the Noise

Director's Profile:
Christian has dedicated himself to commercials. Driven by his passion for short, emotional stories and visually stunning pictures, he is hungry for new projects and challenges, with the aim of constantly creating extraordinary filmic approaches. In 2014 he enrolled to study Commercial Directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. Christian has won the Young Director Award in Cannes twice.

Film Description:
Kill the Noise is a project of my second year at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. Initially I came up with the sloganKill the Noise, before developing the idea of a woman, who wants to kill her husband because of the noises he makes. What I liked about this concept is, that everyone could find oneself in this situation. After that, writing became more or less a diary of personal situations.
