Algorithms help us filter the content we consume, but when it comes to discovering new music or podcasts, Spotify recommendations can feel limited because they are based on what we already listen to.

The good old word of mouth has always helped us discover new inspiration because it carries people's own personal experience.

This is why we developed a new feature within the Spotify app that brings people together by sharing meaningful audio recommendations.
